TriHealth Bridge

Many have been asking, “What is Storyboard?” Storyboard is a carefully crafted Epic enhancement designed to achieve improved efficiency at patient care planning in Epic! On Sunday, May 31, Storyboard will officially replace the current Epic patient header, contain the same informational content, but include helpful functionalities that will allow the end user to efficiently plan and document patient care. This feature was conceived and developed in response to clinicians’ requests to reduce the number clicks, minimize screen jumps, decrease documentation time, and better streamline the workflows involved in gathering information and executing patient care plans in Epic.

To prepare for this transition, on Wednesday, May 13th, team members will be given the ability to toggle back and forth between the current Epic patient chart view and improved Storyboard view. Visit TriHealth Bridge or the Learning Home Dashboard within Epic to find instructions on how to toggle this feature on. It is strongly recommended that you use this feature to explore the Storyboard view prior to the May 31st go-live when this new functionality will permanently replace the current headers. Tip sheet and video resources are also available on TriHealth Bridge for team members to learn about and get familiar with Storyboard. Additionally, there are Storyboard focused Lunch and Learns planned throughout the week of May 11th at 12:00pm and 12:30pm, specifically for providers and team members who serve in TriHealth ambulatory practices.

My hope is that this lunch and learn was not mandatory. I was laid off on all Monday's, including Monday, May 11th.
