Ten senior students from Woodward Career Technical High School, each with a 3.0 GPA and above, will spend the next 10 weeks working and learning in the Oncology and Women’s Services practices at Good Samaritan Hospital as part of a new Medical Assistant Co-Op program. Students will graduate from the program with a Medical Assistant credential and with more clinical experience than a college student.
TriHealth will welcome new and diverse talent who will begin their careers at TriHealth. Through this co-op program, students receive accelerated skill development, post-program employment opportunities at TriHealth, and eligibility for tuition reimbursement at our local universities.
Christian Bradley, Talent Acquisition Consultant at TriHealth, shared appreciation for “the Woodward faculty and staff, the TriHealth 1 HR Team as well as the leadership teams for Oncology and Women’s Service for investing in these students. This program can go a long way in solving a crucial need in our practices and provides a pathway to great careers here at TriHealth.“
