Good Samaritan College Tuition Benefit
Good Samaritan College (GSC) is now offering a 25% tuition discount on all classwork and programs to active TriHealth team members. Be sure to identify yourself as a TriHealth team member during the application process. 

Medical Assistant Certification Cohort
In partnership with GSC, we are offering an exciting program for team members seeking to open the door to career opportunities in a clinical setting. The Medical Assistant (MA) Certification Cohort is a three-semester program beginning in January 2020 (two classroom semesters and one practicum semester). Benefits to MA Certification Cohort participants include: 

• No out-of-pocket tuition expenses for full-time team members participating in this Cohort; participants must meet program requirements (see below)
• Earn 30 credit hours that may be applied to an Associate’s Degree in Health Science. 
• Paid clinical experience through practicum with opportunity to hire into Certified Medical Assistant role at program’s end
• Day or evening class options
• Cohort includes Certification Exam to earn Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential

Information sessions will be held at Good Samaritan College (Room 973.16) on the following dates:

  • Monday, November 4, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 5, 5-7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 12, 5-7 p.m.

Application deadline is December 6, 2019
 
Participant Requirements & Selection Criteria
• TriHealth team member employed 4+ months, currently in FT/PT role with no performance counseling in last 12 months
• Admission to Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science
• HS Diploma or GED, ready for college level work as determined by GSC One Stop Admissions staff. 
• Leader reference with completed application process (including short ‘why’ paragraph)
