TriHealth Bridge

October 28, 2019

We’ve teamed up with College for America (CfA), part of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)--an accredited leader in online learning solutions--to help you reach your fullest potential. With no set class times or exams, the CfA degree program sets you up for success!

The CfA programs are:

  • Affordable – As a TriHealth team member, your payment options include:
    • Cohort support - Through our tuition benefit, we will cover 100% of the cost for eligible* team members chosen as cohort participants through the random selection process described below. There is an academic requirement for each term, and a commitment agreement required for all cohort participants.
    • Self-pay - Team members who are not selected (or choose not to be in a cohort) may apply as self-pay students with the low tuition cost of only $3,000 per year. Financing and federal student aid are available for all programs. NOTE: self-pay students are NOT eligible for tuition reimbursement for CfA programs at this time (and therefore will not be required to sign a commitment agreement).
  • Flexible – Rather than attend scheduled classes to earn grades, students submit self-paced projects to master competencies throughout the 16-week terms.
  • Career-focused – Earn an AA or BA degree in marketable fields such as healthcare, management, or communications (note: nursing and other clinical degrees are NOT available through CfA)

TriHealth’s tuition assistance selection process: Team members must visit www.collegeforamerica.org/TriHealth (starting October 29) and submit the interest form to be included in the random selection process by November 15 at 4 p.m. EST. At this time, the site will be closed to allow for a random selection of 25 eligible* team members for the January 2020 cohort. Selections will be communicated by November 21. Team members not selected may either resubmit interest once enrollment opens for the May 2020 cohort or may apply as self-pay students.

Please Note: Competency based education is very different so please take the time to explore the site, www.collegeforamerica.org, to get a better understanding and decide if it’s right for you!

*(Please see TriHealth’s tuition reimbursement policy for eligibility and other terms: go to HR Central; hover the cursor next to “Home” to reveal a drop-down box; select “HR Policies & Handbook”; look for the Tuition Reimbursement Policy in “Benefits”).

Maybe Self pay students should be considered, because there is a greater need there. However still excited about this opportunity
