TriHealth is excited to welcome our last group of S.M.A.R.T. (Strategic Medical Asset Readiness Training) participants in 2019! We’ve hosted 31 S.M.A.R.T. participants over the past year. The 8 soldiers currently at TriHealth will spend two weeks at Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. They will be training with team members in the ICU, ED, Imaging, OR, Respiratory and the TriHealth Education and Simulation Center. SPC Van Winkle, a Combat Medic Specialist said “I’m really looking forward to getting exposed to things I don’t get to see on a regular basis”.
There are a total of 34 S.M.A.R.T. participants in Cincinnati for this last rotation of 2019. TriHealth is thrilled to continue to SERVE our military medical personnel in this community initiative.
