TriHealth Bridge

December 05, 2019

TriHealth was this year’s presenting sponsor at the HealthFORCE event on October 4 at Great Wolf Lodge; an event specifically designed to expose high school students to careers in healthcare as well as careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. This year’s event included nearly 600 students from 25 schools from Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. TriHealth's support of this event not only allows us to educate high schoolers on healthcare careers, but also helps in building a diverse workforce pipeline to fulfill in-demand positions across the region.

Team members from Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Bethesda Butler Surgical Team and Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing represented TriHealth at the event. Our Bethesda Butler team members attended the event to showcase perioperative healthcare careers with a focus on the field of surgical technology. A sample operating room back table set-up was on display for the students to see and interact with, plus a giant Operation game was available for the students to play to gain enthusiasm and enhance the fun!

According to our HealthFORCE survey over 73% of students said they are now more likely to pursue a healthcare career due to HealthFORCE and listed TriHealth as one of the organizations where they’d like to apply.
